Why has the payment system changed? / What is Google Checkout?

Since Qbag changed hands, we have decided to move our payment system to the well-established Google Checkout. Google Checkout makes your online shopping quicker, easier and safer.

There are 3 major features that make Google Checkout stand out:

1. Firstly, with Google Checkout, all you need is one login everywhere. Any online store which features Google Checkout (including Qbag.com) will divert you to Google's secure transaction pages every time you need to pay for any purchases. That is one page, one login and one easy way to pay.

2. Secondly, customers can now view their Order History from multiple stores on just one page. The Checkout will track all your orders and delivery information and keep it safe in just one place. You do not have to make individual accounts with individual online stores.

3. Finally, you can shop with confidence. Google's fraud protection policy covers you, as customers, against unauthorised purchases made through Google Checkout.

Why do I need a Google Account?

In order to take advantage of the confidential and secure online shopping that Google Checkout provides, you need to have a Google Account. You do not, however, need to create a new Google Mail e-mail address as you can make an account with your existing e-mail address, whether it be a Hotmail address, Yahoo! address or otherwise. If you have a Blogger or YouTube account, as these services are with Google, you will already have a Google Account so use that e-mail address with our Checkout system.

Once you have created your Google Account, you can store your billing information and delivery address confidentially in one place and not have to re-enter it everytime you wish to buy Qbags, or indeed, products at any other shop that uses Google Checkout.
