Sole with steamed pak choi

Fish dish that is perfect if you’re looking for a healthy meal whilst on a diet

This recipe serves two

Ingredients

1 Qbag®
2 sole fillets, each weighing around 100 g skinned
2 head of pak choi, cut in ˝ cleaned and drained
4 shitake mushrooms, heads only, cut in half
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp sake or white wine
˝ tsp of salt
25 g butter, cut into cubes (optional)
˝ lemon
1 tsp soy sauce (optional)

Recipe

Place the pak choi, mushrooms and sole into a bowl and season with the salt.

Now pour the sake or wine and oil over the ingredients. Gently coat all the ingredients in the liquid.

Place the pak choi into an open Q bag window facing up. On top of that place the sole then pour in the liquid and mushrooms

For a richer result add the butter.

Seal the Q bag with two 2 cm folds, making sure none of the liquid escapes.

Cooking times

Place on an oven tray into a pre heated oven at 190 C for 10 – 12 minutes

Tips

  1. Serve with a wedge of lemon and a drizzle of soy, optional
